NASCAR Cup Series Charlotte race live updates, highlights, leaderboard for Bank of America 400

About Our Ads Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement The NASCAR Cup Series Chase continues to the Charlotte oval.

The Bank of America 400 on Oct. 11 at Charlotte Motor Speedway is back on the regular, 1.5-mile oval after a years-long stretch on the road course for the track's fall date.

This is the third 1.5-mile oval in successive weeks, with Chase Briscoe and Kyle Larson trading wins in battles for victory at Kansas and Las Vegas.

Larson leads the points standings by 40 points over Denny Hamlin with six races to go.

Practice and qualifying was rained out on Oct. 10, with Larson on the pole via the rule book metric. It also means that a competition caution will be likely implemented sometime in the first 50 laps of the race.

The weather forecast looks OK in the afternoon, with rain chances falling throughout the day.
